The Cross staff has had the pleasure of speaking with Moses Omondi.  He is a wonderfully God-fearing man.  Through several talks and deliberation, we have decided to share our religious practices with each others homeland church. If you would like to view their church website, please click on the link below.

On this page, we are proud to announce our connection with a very special overseas group.  They are located in Nairobi, Kenya.  This is known as God's Gap!  Seeking God across the miles.  These gentlemen are pastors at a very special church in Kenya.........                                                           we encourage you to see God's work across the miles!

Moses Omondi received Christ in the year 2000, as a boy in a high school. In form three (like our 11th grade in America) Moses felt the need to be in ministry by responding to God’s Call. Immediately after his high school Education in the year 2004 Moses joined a Bible School in his home town that is Ugunja where he received a certificate in ministry. After one year in Bible School Moses served under youth ministry, for more than a year at Upako centre, from 2005 to 2006. Later he joined Carlile College School of Theology and graduated with an Advance Diploma in Urban Mission. While at Carlile College Moses was attached to Unfailing Love Ministries as an Associate Minister where he served for three years as the Church Adminitrator. Moses is passionate about teaching God’s word and reaching out to the unreached with The Gospel of our Lord Jesus. Currently Moses is an intern at Nairobi Chapel  in the Department of Missions and also part of Church planting team in Uthiru Nairobi

Pastor Moses Mathenge (DJ Moz) Director of Outreach:

DJ Moz got saved in Sept 1999 when he was a secular DJ at a popular joint called JKays in Westlands, Nairobi. The tool that he had in his hands which He could offer God was Deejaying. He loved (and still loves) music and he had seen the impact that music had in the lives of young people. He asked the Lord to use the gift He had given him for His glory and  was determined to see the lives of young people change and turn to God. Since then, there has been no looking back. K Krew was birthed from this desire in May 2000 when he started a radio show called Kubamba. Today K-Krew has different arms of ministry which allow them to minister to millions of youth each year. These include:

  • Media (Tv - Gospel Sunday on Citizen Tv with Kubamba & Rauka)
  • School Outreach (High School and College Ministry)
  • Events (Chillage at the Village for young adults, Bi-Ball Games and Totally Sold Out - TSO- which is our new years eve concert).

His greatest desire is to see a movement of young people who are not ashamed of representing our Lord Jesus Christ to the fullest. He is married to Debra Kimathi and they have a little one, Zara Wangari Kimathi.
